Hello,

My neighbor had a fire incident a few weeks go (Plano) because of an issue with the electric meter. He has a contractor working on his house and they put his electric meter on my property by the alley way. I tried to look for documentation around easement for utility companies but couldn't find it in my title documents. Does anyone know if the utility companies typically have easement in the areas close to the alley ways? I do have a couple of meters close to the new electric pole.

Thanks!

Generally, the electric companies have a 5' easement across that area.
