Do you have to return toll tag after removing a car from your account? My kid changed his car and threw away his tag as insurance rep didn't ask him to return, just told about mailing a new one for new car. As far as I can recall, they ask you to return it. Is this a requirement?

No. You can log to your account in online and deactivate it. I’m surprised he got it off in one piece. Mine have always pulled apart when I peeled them off the windshield.

Ours is still on a year and a half after we left DFW. I tried to peel it off one day and it was obvious it was going to take more time than I cared to part with. Now it serves as a memento of our time there.
