My belief is one, the trial was over.

Two, the "separation of church and state" originated as the mandate to keep the state out of our right to worship (!), and now these wacko organizations twist it to mean the opposite.

I'm all for the grace of God to change lives, and I believe that was a grace outpouring, from his brother and then the judge. I hope to send Amber a copy of my book about what God did in my life, once it's published.

Like her, I was looking at 5-99 at one point.

.
The right to worship is not just christianity. Using a position of power to proselytize is also a nebulous abuse of a separation of church and state.

Only if its coercive, which it was not as the trial was over and sentence rendered. Thus, the judge wasn't acting in her capacity as a judge and there was no undue influence or coercion. Note, Guyger is Christian herself from what I can tell so the argument is even all the more weak. The fact that you put on a judicial robe doesnt mean you cant express your religious faith. Hell, the Supreme Court has ruled that the official use of prayer in opening government meetings is constitutional, so a judge saying prayer outside of an official judicial proceeding (which had ended) certainly passes muster.

It's not proselytizing when someone is already that religion.

Wow! Joshua Brown, Botham's neighbor who testified for the prosecution, was shot and killed last night.

Yep, DPD intended on sending a message. This was not random. I heard that 'Bunny' girl that had video (not the police cam video) was receiving threats and having a hard time.

The police chief might take the fall for this, but my money is on Mikkke Mata and his goons. Of course they'll never actually find the killers or they'll pin it on some random "drug deal gone wrong bull****"

The pro-police crowd will say it was just a coincidence, nothing more.

But I think most people can see how obvious that it's a hit man hired by the cops.

A year ago I would have laughed at you for spouting conspiracy bs, but now? I don’t even know what to think. This is all so surreal right now. Wow.
