Seriously, Dallas is terrible. Just this past Thursday, I was a victim of a hit-and-run and I wasn't even in the car! I stopped at a Starbucks to use the restroom.

No one left a courtesy note, contact information, NOTHING!

Yep, I hear you. Got two huge sharp dents in my car's door while parked at a soccer game last weekend. Considering the way I was parked in an end spot, you would have to almost on purpose park crossing the line, and then use all of your strength to kick the door open to cause these type of creases. Of course, no note left documenting the remarkable achievement.

I have no idea how Dallas surpassed Atlanta in terms of bad driving. Having people blow bast me at 90 mph, while crossing multiple lanes, and coming up behind me, only to miss me by inches, was a common occurrence.

Yeah, sure DFW has driving issues, so does Los Angeles, but Atlanta was sheer insanity.

The only "Dallas driver" thing I've experienced in Dallas alone that annoys me is drivers tooling along at 10 below the speed limit until coming up a long yellow light and then absolutely flooring it. Like you could have been going the speed limit the whole time and not had to do that.

Other than that, Dallas is like driving anywhere else, and the drivers are mostly the same.

Two cars in a row cut me off on 75 yesterday without using their turn signals. It was the middle of the day with no traffic.

They were more important than me, obviously.

The turn thing is even more annoying and selfish. If you didn’t get over early enough, take another route or make a u-turn, it’s not the end of the world to be a couple minutes later!

I try to drive very defensively because I’ve come to expect terrible drivers in DFW.

I've come to expect terrible drivers anywhere there are people in cars on the road.

Bad trends in driving have been something I notice. First there was the 'pull out at the last possible minute in front of an oncoming car, when there are other open lanes' maneuver. Along with its single lane variation. Now I'm noticing people like to turn around and make a u-turn right from the lane they are in, or in the middle of a four way intersection. And of course, people are still driving while using their cell phones.

There are countless others we could enumerate. As the guy on Hill Street Blues used to say "Be careful out there."
