After having morning lows in the 20s and 30s, today’s high will be in the 60s.

People on various forums will say 'the weather sucks in Dallas.' Au contraire. It sucks during the summer. The rest of the year for this newcomer has proven to be quite nice! Days like today are heavenly.

Yes! Sure - Texas summers are tough. But we generally have fabulous weather from October through at least April and often May. I don't even find June to be uncomfortable much of the time, though some people do (my cutoff for heat index is about 90 or higher), and as long as it cools off some at night I am good to go. The dog days of summer - July, August and September when even the evenings don't cool off - get to me but my gosh, that's 9 months of weather I really like.

Today is supposed to be another beautiful day, and it looks like Thanksgiving week will be mostly really pleasant too - cool but not cold, with chilly nights. I personally like that and it's likely to carry through December that way as well.

I love the cold, short, dark, wet days of January, because they last a MONTH. Not five months!

It’ll be nearly 80 degrees today. Next week, we could see highs in the upper 40s and lows in the 20s.

November has been significantly drier than the two previous months. We’ve have not recevied an inch of rain this whole month.

Tomorrow, there’s an enhanced risk (level 3 out of 5) of severs storms. Tornadoes, large hail, and high winds are all a possibility.

It is humid outside today. It will be fuel for potentially severe thunderstorms tonight.
