All,

Our church is planning to conduct a one day outing/picnic with roughly 100 people and we are looking for a Ranch/Camp site within 1 hour driving from N. Dallas.

We are specifically looking for a site that can offer grilling facility, some out door activities for the kids and youth plus something that we can offer for the senior citizens as well. Ours will be a one day trip (morning 10:00AM to 6:00PM). If you know of any good place you can recommend please suggest. We would like to rent a family/kids friendly friendly place.

Thanks in advance

Jacob

I would try Collin County Adventure Camp. It's in Anna and owned by the Y. We use it for Y Guides trips and it's way better than I would have believed for something still in Collin County. Great amenities for kids. Not positive what it will offer for senior citizens but they could probably fish or do some sort of arts and crafts type projects. We always rent it for a whole weekend along with bunk houses, but I am guessing they would do a day rental if it's not already booked for something else.

Actually, it is owned by Collin County and managed by the YMCA. While it does have an Anna mailing address, it is located in Westminster, a bit east of Anna.
Collin County

You could try Cross Creek Ranch in Parker.
