I think the insurance costs depend on which hospital system you work for and which insurance company you have your policy through
because of the way TX insurance works--some hospital systems might choose to be self insured and some might have coverage through the insurance carrier

not every nurse with the same family arrangement pays the same monthly amounts as a nurse that works in different hospital but you will pay more as a household than as a single person since you will obviously incur more charges percentage wise...

the only info I found looking at the Presbyterian site was about interns in a program--the chart showed $500 for insurance but I can't believe that it would be 500 a month for a single person...so maybe 500 a year...
