Hi, we are a family of three with one 16 month old kid and planning to move from east coast (NJ) to Dallas this year. Both me and my wife will be working from home full time although my wife who has a office in Richardson may have to go there once in a while.
We have targeted areas close to Frisco ISD due to their reputation. We like the green neighborhood but Frisco being new and upcoming, the greenery is something which is absent from there 'currently' (it may change in few years). I looked online and found that there are certain parts in Mckinney (75070) which shared Frisco ISD. My question is- can this change later down the line due to zoning and more population moving to Frisco, Frisco ISD may decide to ban neighborhood towns to share their schools. If yes, do you guys recommend any other zip codes that will suite our wishlist.

Thank you in advance!

Vineet

ISD boundaries are essentially set in stone. There is a process to change them but it is onerous and involves elections in both ISDs plus a transfer of schools depending on the boundaries. I've never heard of it actually happening.

School boundaries with in the district can absolutely change and are much more likely in younger growing districts.

School district boundaries are very highly unlikely to change. The chance of Frisco ISDchanging their boundaries is 0.0000000001%.
