TBH I think it will. South Dallas has so much potential, it just needs something like this to help spark revitalization. Old East Dallas is going to start booming even more. The growth is going to get crazy...

Uber might become the Myspace of the ride hailing app soon with customers like you.

They still would have to treat drivers as employees if they still want to do business in California. I was watching this story on CBS L.A.'s stream, and judging from the video of the picket lines, Californian culture still has camaraderie and assertiveness as defining traits--unlike Texas.

According to this DMN article. Toyota moved 2,800 employees and filled 1,200 additional positions.

The two cities competing for this business were Phoenix and Dallas... Houston has different interests than Dallas. In fact I doubt they go head-to-head very often other than for global events such as hosting the World Cup, Super Bowls, etc.... everybody and their brother was going after Amazon HQ2. it's all good. Happy for Dallas and especially for it's downtown core.

Literally has nothing to do with Houston so no need to try and make this a versus thread. This is a great get for the northern Dallas area! It's good to see them move into Dallas' core and not the suburbs.
