I'm going to be traveling through Texas this Fall and will be with my family. We're going to stop for a day in Dallas and we were planning on going to one of these two malls.

Does anyone have any experience with either mall? We'd like to avoid accidentally walking into an area where crime is more common so any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

How did you pick those two? When I think of Dallas malls, either The Galleria or North Park come to mind (I think North Park is the better experience). Those two are definitely better than Grapevine Mills or The Parks Mall.

We were planning on going to a Round1 location, and they only have them at these two malls. For those that don't know, Round1 is a giant arcade that also has bowling, karaoke, billiards, and some other stuff.

I'm pretty sure both are safe, but, I guess as a city, Grapevine has a better reputation. If you are traveling with kids who may wanted plushes, the crane games at Grapevine Mill's Round 1 tend to have a better selection.

That's actually really good info to have. I will definitely want to win some plushies for the little ones. Thank you!

I'm very familiar with both of them. Both are perfectly safe, but for what you are looking for, Grapevine is a better option!

Why there? Why not Northpark in Dallas?

There is a Dave & Buster's right next to Northpark....better area & better shopping...and it's actually in Dallas!

I appreciate the feedback but D&B's doesn't compare to Round1
