Do y'all think deep ellum will survive the pandemic? Given all of the success over the past 4 or so years, do y'all think it will still be very vibrant once things go back to "normal"?

There have been many times when Deep Ellum died and then came back to life. Hopefully, it won't die this time but if it does, it will rise again.

My opinion Deep Ellum was losing it's spunk before COVID and the riots.
It used to be a hip enclave of dive bars, and when I saw a Patagonia moving in, my eyes basically rolled out of my head. Different strokes for different folks.

Maybe the riots and COVID will bring it back to its hipster roots and scare off the popped pink polo crowd.

Yes it will survive...considering how crowded it still is during the pandemic.

Deep Ellum & the central Dallas area as a whole will be fine during the pandemic. There have been losses, but the energy in the center city will continue to improve once everything gets back to normal.

AT&T Discovery District is even better than I expected and it hasn't even had a grand opening yet due to covid-19. I can't wait until things get more normal than this normal.
