He's right on point. Due to emotion............overbuying in the face of de minimis risk has created shortages such that medical people in sick wards 10, 12, 14 hrs. per day have been denied masks. Keep in mind and depending upon where these medical people are they need masks to stave off various splatters, TB, measles and various flus etc.

I don't dispute the message, but I would prefer the Surgeon General not sound like a Valley Girl from.the 80's...

I laugh at people who still wear masks.

People are sheep.

For those of you who are looking for masks, you might try searching for R95 instead, or R99, if you can't find any N95 masks. They're basically the same thing as N95 but have more protection against breaking down from oils. I use these when working on things in the garage and around the house that require a respirator.

Or dont buy them at all so that supply can be there for those who actually need them. Like healthcare workers...

I can't help but play devil's advocate here. If they are effective at preventing health care workers from catching it why would they not not be effective for the general public? I understand wanting supply for healthcare workers on the front lines but the logic here doesn't track.
