Has anyone had their vehicle shipped from NY to the Dallas area? Looking for a reliable company to have my car shipped in December.
I also wonder if they allow to put some boxes in the trunk.

Thanks for recommendations. I also searched the forum and came up with https://plymouthautotransport.com/ - they are veteran-run brokers and give discounts to veterans. I may go with them because of the discount.

I've used Reliable Carriers as mentioned above a couple times. I like them because they offer enclosed auto transport. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. I also like their tracking ability, I knew where my vehicle was at all times.

I used National Transport LLC 800-665-5022 earlier this year from NJ to Plano and had very good experience on the basis of competitive pricing, responsiveness, quick pickup and delivery. Hard to endorse someone based on a single experience but I’d give them a shot. Good luck.

Most of the guys you google will be brokers. Brokers will list your car on Central and hope a carrier picks it up, so don't go for the cheapest. The cheapest rate = the guys who will list yours on Central at below-market rates so it'll sit there for weeks with no movement. Also, don't pre-pay under any circumstances.

I actually used Plymouth on an CA to TX vehicle move last year. Bill was great and very patient (I needed the car moved at a decent price right as peak season hit in early Dec.). He is a broker, but he knows what rates on Central will get the car moved.

If you want to deal w the carrier directly, United Road is excellent. I've used them twice now.

Try giving A1Auto Transport (800 452-2880) a shot - I've used them for cross country car shipping before and they were much more affordable that some of the others I talked to. Plus they have some discounts that can shave off $50 or $100 depending on what you qualify for. They also had offices in every state so there was no problems getting in touch with them during the process.
