At this time of pandemic, to keep social distancing rules in place. I've been contemplating on going for a drive to get a change of scenery.

Any recommendations? I'm sure I'm not the only one to thinking to get out.

All of those places are too far away for a day trip. You'd have to spend the night.

Maybe look at driving to Glen Rose or Ennis and back.

Yeah, I don't have a RV otherwise that would be an option so day trip only. No overnights.

What area are you in? If you haven't frequented Fort Worth or Dallas downtowns, this is a good time to check them out with no traffic. Swiss Avenue in Dallas is also a neat street with these large historical homes. If there are areas in DFW you haven't been to, it may be worth driving through. Downtown McKinney is also a cute area to look at.

Then it doesn’t matter. There’s really nothing different within a 2 hour drive.

Just go to the park or take a walk.

Sure a drive to Broken Bow or even Talimena National Scenic Bypass are day trips if you don't stop and just drive, well at least they are for me. Pac k something to eat and keep moving. It is worth the trip in my view if you have not seen these areas..

I'm in Prosper near DNT. I have yet to see Fort Worth and Downtown McKinney but have been to downtown Dallas and Swiss Ave a few times. I wasn't even aware there was a such thing as downtown McKinney. Thanks I'll check em out.
