I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with! I am relocating to west Plano in a few weeks, and I'll be working just west of the telecom corridor on Campbell. I'll be commuting from parker between the Tollway & Preston. What is the easiest/fastest way to get to Central & Campbell?

I was thinking about going east on Parker to Coit and taking Coit to Campbell. Is that probably the best option? About how long would that take? Please let me know! Thanks.

Oh yes, I have a client who purchased in Hunters Creek in Frisco - he works at Lennox and travels south from 121 on Custer and gets to work at 8:00am in 35 minutes. Test both Preston & Coit going south..depends on your commute time & school zones! EZ

Thank you for the response! I think testing both out is probably the best option. Also, I would assume that going south on Ohio from Parker would probably be fairly quick as well. If I recall, Ohio turns into Hillcrest in Dallas, but still goes past Campbell?

Hillcrest goes all the way to Highland Park.

The only thing I would avoid is heading south on Coit and having to make a left hand turn onto Cambpell. It's a single turn lane and it's always long.

You could avoid that turn by taking Parker to Independence (which turns into Waterview in Richardson) instead of Coit, then turning left onto Campbell from there.

I would say this route or Coit is your best bet, Preston has more traffic and you'll get caught in a big mess crossing 190.

Ohio would work -however Coit & Preston have more lanes and are staight shots vs Hillcrest & Ohio are more residential. Based on time of morning & school routes you have 3 good options. I alwats listen to 820 talk radio for traffic reports. Maybe that's another thread-which stations have best traffic reports?

I listen to AM-1080 that does traffic on the 8's, 12:08, 12:18, 12:28, etc. and in the morning while getting ready for work I watch Fox 4 since it's all local news. No national programming after 7am.
