Generally speaking, east of 75, west of Dallas North Tollway (DNT), and south of Downtown in Dallas proper have more laid back and chill establishments. There's chill spots in Downtown & Uptown as well, but just more-so in the other areas.

Well, I don't hang out in bars any more, but bikers and cowboys don't tend to intersect. And actually, a redneck and a cowboy are different, though no one understands the difference any more.

There are bars all over most of Dallas County (except dry areas). All the recommendations I'm seeing are processed faux-rough-bars. Genuine rough bars you'll have to find on your own.

In my Dallas bar experience, whether some place was a 'biker bar' really depended on the day. Sunday was generally biker bar day.

However, Stroker's Ice House in Dallas near Love Field is pretty famous. They service and sell motorcycles there.

Some of us still do. But I know what you're saying here.

If it's rough bars he's wanting, Jacksboro Hwy (199) use to have a fair share of them. About like Breckenridge, they had some of those cedar hackers as regulars and you don't won't to get crossways with those guys.

I haven't been to Dallas in years but I'm sure there will be plenty of beer joints/dives listed here before long. A drive down Division St. (hwy 80) in Arlington and take your pick of little bars to have a beer at. You'll see all kinds of people and usually a few motorcycles parked there as well.

Exactly. No shortage of every flavor of dive bars within Dallas proper.

Side Street Bar in Terrell.

River Club between Sunnyvale and Forney, about 20-25 min from downtown Dallas.

Neon Cowboy in Pleasant Grove, about 7-10 min from downtown Dallas (I know, very unusual location for the establishment but it's a well known honky tonk / redneck style place).

Outlaws Saloon in Talty (between Forney and Terrell), about 25-30 min from Dallas.
I went to the Fast Eddie's in Round Rock! Interestingly that one didn't feel like a biker bar at all, just regular folk hanging out and shooting pool.

Why would you think Pleasant Grove is an unusual location for a rough bar? It's exactly where I would expect to find such an establishment.

The one in Terrell has been there at least 30 years. It's not a chain.

Stroker’s comes to mind. Also, is Bombshells this type of bar as well?
