Is OLH in Hexter Elementary? Hexter has been exemplary for the last couple of years and has a 'cool -people' coterie supporting it..

I have some rentals near DART tracks and there is just a gentle 'wooosh' noise, much better than the old freight trains which used to ply those tracks years ago. Also the Katy Trail is being expanded to the lake along those tracks.

Yes... OLH is Hexter.

ready2fly... OLH and LH have nothing in common, except the same 2 words. One is DISD, one is RISD. Both have their charms.

We did witness DART going by while looking at properties, and it was very whoosh-like. No problem at all.

And oh yeah, that property by Easton was...interesting. I've never seen a house decorated with Tim Burton-esque skeletons and Grateful Dead Bears. I thought for a minute we were in Austin.

So, of those original 5 properties, we're only keeping Carissa as a contender, but TOMORROW(!) I'm coming back to Dallas AGAIN look at:

11312 Carissa (2nd showing) 3/2/2, $1495
7344 Haverford (found it Saturday - 2nd showing) 3/2/2, $1600
6421 Ridgemont - 3/2.5/2, $1695
9235 Orbiter - 4/2.5/2, $1700
10319 Chesterton - 4/2/2, $1800

Bringing camera, taking more notes, and bringing along my completed application & checkbook. Movin' fast because....we're signing a contract to sell our house! After only being on the market one week! We are thrilled!

Thanks to all for your wonderful help & suggestions.

That Ridgemont address backs on to some not very nice apartments and condos (that are mostly rentals now) on Lover's, right off of NW Hwy.

Haverford is in the Lakewood Elementary zone:

A lot of those homes are the of very last built with hardwood floors - I believe most are pier and beam but some aren't.
