No. I am saying that in secret places the pedigree of President Trump, for many reasons, would be considered a joke when he visits Western Europe today.. Commoners were those that continued speaking Germanic in contrast to the English aristocracy who had to learn French (a broken Latin by that time) this becoming the case after they had been conquered by the Normans. After the English kicked the Norsemen out, they continued speaking French. Over time, the French and Germanic combined into today's English.

An excellent example of what I speak? Take the trilogy of astronomers Corpinicous, Galileo, and Kepler. Corpinicous wrote a controversial book that was thought to hold little validity because he was an Eastern European. The Catholic Church didn't ban his book. Kepler was a German. He was one step away from legitimacy as he was German. Galileo got his butt kicked and his book banned because he lived in Italy and spoke Latin ( Italian).

This issue is addressed in the movie "Braveheart." William Wallace was taught how to speak both French and Latin!

So basically Trump is a 'new money' commoner. I don't disagree. If you think about American politics, someone like George W. Bush would be a "noble" from a high pedigree family (pretty sure his ancestors were on the Mayflower) while Trump would be part of a commoner family that became successful merchants.

The merchant class can flash all the gold and silver they want but nobles will always keep them at arms length.

It is interesting considering how most southern whites are of English/Scottish/Welsh ancestry with fairly deep roots in the New World yet they embrace a rich (maybe), silver spoon Yankee with one foreign born mom and 4 European grandparents. If he was a Democrat with that background, he'd be food for the GOP.

Meanwhile Obama is a direct descendant of one of the first blacks brought to America (John Punch on his mom's side), grew up middle class and is fairly 'self-made' as far as President's go...but he's "un-American." Barack marries once to an American born woman while Donald has been married three times...2 being foreign born. I mean, what happened to good ol' 'Merica? All these Euro sensibilities in our president are suddenly "OK." This is the same country that brought you 'Freedom Fries.'

Right. For him to be a populist, president Trump needs to possess a better pedigree. He is on the outside looking in though. He is a kind of mutt mixture The Slavic culture he has married into were once viewed as the N word people. Again, anything barbaric German has always been rejected as well.

He is a great president though. Lousy businessman apparently. Perhaps the greatest president since Franklin Roosevelt. The mistake that Presidents Carter, Daddy Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr., and Obama have made is reject him. That mistake is sure to tarnish their legacies.

Trump is not a sophisticate feigning sympathy for the disadvantaged.

1) Trump is not part of the established Washington scene - the swamp.

2) Neither was Trump born with the pedigree to rub elbows with the queen of England, the Kennedys, the Bushes, and the Clinton's.

3) Marrying into the Slavic culture is never going to fetch him a knighthood. There will never be a "Sir" Donald Trump.
