No county in Texas is racing to the center and left of it faster than Collin County. Frankly, theres no way California transplants arent part of that. It is ground zero for California migration to Texas.

I'd have to agree with CNN's polling... At this time, the majority of people from California moving here seem to be right leaning as they have a greater desire to "escape" a blue state. My guess is that it's the Asian and Indian populations who are more directly responsible for the shift left in politics in CC. This last election, there were also more people voting against Trump, as they simply don't like HIM, as opposed to the GOP. There are a lot of Bush Republicans who voted blue this year. Those people will probably return to voting for the GOP if they can manage to field a candidate in 2024 who isn't as flawed as Trump is.

I disagree. I think Tarrant County will go blue before Collin County and it’s not really a hot zone for California transplants. I’d say again the shift in voting patterns has more to do with demographics.
