Installing LVP on the kitchen floor, need to demo the tiles first.

Do I need to empty out the cabinets or just cover/tape it with long plastic sheeting? The installing firm said its totally up to us. Any tips?

Tape and drape will work fine if you are careful.

If your AC or heat will be on grab extra air filters. There’s a good chance you’ll be dealing with more dust than you think.

The entire house is dusty n messy now. Should I pick up a wet n dry vacuum cleaner or hepa vac from HD or my regular Hoover will do the job?

Every homeowner should own a nice shop vac, get one that's mid size and has a powerful motor. Sears always had the best if you can find a Sears store still open. It does not need to be a HEPA, just clean the filter on a regular basis.

Best thing you can ever buy besides a home compressor.

I agree with Rakin........no need for a HEPA filter. Power matters more than container size for most people. Figure out how the wet suction set-up works before you buy.

That said your Hoover, assuming proper attachments, may be enough.

Check:
The tops of refrigerators
Tops of ceiling fan blades
Top sides of picture frames

Trust me......................change your HVAC filters and vacuum return grates.

I hired some cleaners to do the work. But I’m definitely getting the dry vac now. Thanks for the tip guys.
I had the AC off all the while. So I guess I can skip the filter replacement part.
