We made it through much better than a lot of people, we did have actual rolling blackouts where we'd have power for an hour, then off for an hour. But we know a ton of people across TX who had no power for days, let alone a few hours at a time which is enough to cause damage.

So far as I can tell at this point, we have no broken pipes, but tomorrow and Sunday will be the days to find out for sure. Our pool equipment I decided to drain after a night of breaking ice at 3am and praying for the power to come back on for our pump to not freeze, I think that was the correct course of action. We let our faucets flow much more than a drip... when it's been this cold, a slow drip is not enough. We still had minor blockages in a couple water lines but I think we're going to be fine. But even if we don't have any claims, I'm sure our rates are going to go up by a lot anyway just to cover all the damages everyone has had, so we're all paying for it one way or another.

Yeah, stay in CA and wait for the next big quake or wildfire to take you out.

Every area has their 100 year disasters.

Labor shortage.... New Home Construction lead time 10-12 months again....Labor Inflation....

Few home rentals and a limited supply of apartments for the next year.
Biden has the no eviction still in place also.

This may hit you guys in New Homes and make it even harder than it is now.

Snovid21.
