My wife and I like Waxahachie. We're in our 50s and are considering purchasing a newly-built home there in 2022. We'll be interested in a home in the $300.000-$350,000 range.

I've read that the current market for existing homes is "insane." What is the market in Waxahachie like for newly-built homes? Do the builders have waiting lists?

What are your opinions of John Houston Homes. What are other reputable area builders? Should we consider other nearby communities? Thanks for sharing your views.

John Houston homes are nice.

Other reputable builder in area is Highland Homes.

Look into North Grove community in W. And M3 Ranch in Mansfield.

If my office wasn't in Irving, I would so consider Mansfield and Waxahachie.
