Hello,
My wife and I are looking into a suburb in las colinas, but I have two offices in dallas. One is in downtown dallas near gaston/washington and the other office is off I75 and Cambell road just north of IH635.
Anyone make this sort of commute? Need input on time of commute leaving around 8am weekdays.
thanks
hp

Los Colinas to downtown shouldn't be too long, but over to 635 & 75 could take some time. I don't know for sure, but based on radio reporst there are almost daily accidents on 635.

Most of the accidents on LBJ/635 do tend to be in the direction of the heaviest traffic. In the mornings it is going west and afternoons going east. Your best bet may be 190 to 75 or you can even get off 190 onto one of the side roads to Campbell if 75 is slow. You would tend to be going against most traffic on either LBJ and 190 for rush hour so that would help.

Thanks for the info guys.
Does anyone make the daily commute from las colinas?
If so, what is the average time during rush hour m-f if taking 114 to 35 into downtown dallas or 190 to 75 into richardson?
thanks in advance.

Default Las Colinas to Downtown

I drive daily from Las Colinas to downtown. My advice is to avoid the freeway all together. I take Loop 348 east to Harry Hines. Then take Harry Hines south, straight into downtown. Take me about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Somedays taking 114 to 35 is faster, but when there is an accident...forget about it.
