Hi,

My wife and I have been renting but we're finally ready to buy our first home. Our budget is $350K and I work in Euless. My wife works remotely so we only need to focus on my drive. We have a toddler so school district quality is important. I understand our budget is not the best in these crazy buying times, but ideally we would like to live in a nice, safe area with good schools. As for commute time, I'm okay with driving up to half an hour to and from work.

We appreciate your responses!

HEB ISD, certain parts of Birdville ISD, or GCISD would all work well with a Euless commute and your price range.

Anywhere in the Keller ISD would probably work also.

We'll luckily for you Euless ISD is one of the best bang for your buck areas, especially with the budget you gave.

I would say Central Euless or the Eastern half of Bedford. Alot of houses in your price range, very close to your job, and the Harwood Junior high to Euless Trinity Highschool feeder pattern is very solid.

I agree with all of these posters: live near your work in NE Tarrant. My husband and I just moved from Grapevine after nearly 20 years. That’s a great area of DFW, and either HEBISD or GCISD schools will be great. If you need the name of a wonderful realtor, PM me.

I recently moved to Euless and I love it here. It's pretty quiet, it's affordable, there isn't much traffic, and it's a quick drive over to Grapevine or Southlake in case I need something more upscale.

I have often thought we would have been just as happy in HEB ISD as we are in GCISD. We basically live across the street in SE Colleyville. There are some neighborhoods in Euless I like a lot and when my boys graduate in 3 years we might just make a move if we decide to stay in the Mid Cities. We will def get out of Colleyville though due to the toxic city government. While the school district is good, there is going to be school board drama for the foreseeable future, and the next cycle is going to be particularly bad.
