Looking for places with comfy couches, delicious coffee, snacks, not too crowded and artistic vibes. What independent coffee shops do you recommend?

My favorites are Native Coffee Co. on Alpha in North Dallas. They usually have a good bit of African coffee which is a fav. region for me. They will prep. coffee just about any way including Hario V-60 pour-overs. It's fairly large, very comfortable...........not sure about any art vibe tho.

White Rock Coffee - any location. I like ristretto shots and WRC at Royal just east of DNT makes them perfectly.

Saint Ann Restaurant and Bar at Harwood and Moody.........they serve spectacular coffee.

Oddball and not what you asked for but Jimmy's Food Store on Bryan makes a mean espresso.

Argentina Bakery

Argentina Bakery in Irving.

These guys have good coffee, great baked goods and other things. I like their empanadas. They don't have couches but they have really comfortable large leather chairs.

The place feels really authentic (because it is). I really like that because I think sometimes some coffee shops go a little overboard trying to "Be a cool coffee shop" if that makes sense. Most of the time when I go there are some old timers hanging out there...usually someone's abuela gossiping with her friends in Spanish.

I've taken perhaps a dozen people there over the years and everyone has liked it so far.

Pax and Beneficia in Irving is also good, at least the couple times I have been there.

There are two shops in DT Plano, XO Coffee and 1418 Coffee. I prefer the latter.
