Can you help with where we would be better with school options ?
I work remote and don’t have to commute.

I also read about coppell having good schools. Sorry if the question is repetitive from earlier school questions - I saw discussions that were from 2018. Just trying to get a fresh perspective.

I see Plano has a IB program - hence kids might be able to take advantage of that and go to PESH - but it looks like it’s only by lottery ?
Coppell schools are good and its centrally located but property taxes are high. A lot of Asian/Indian families reside there or in neighboring Valley Ranch section of Irving.

Plano also has a huge Chinese population. It hasn't been "all white" in a very long time.

You must be from different place, No Plano resident would ever make such statement.

I can only assume youve never been to Plano. Plano is more diverse than Frisco and has a much larger Indian population.

Plano hasn’t been “all white” in 30 years. Linked an article from last year naming Plano the 46th most diverse large city in the US.

1 in 4 Plano residents was not born in the US. By 2030, the white population will be at or below 50%. Plano’s foreign-born residents come from all over the world: 58% Asian/Indian, 26% Latin American, 8% European, 5% African, 2% Canadian, and 1% Pacific Islander.

No doubt. The school district (which obviously doesn’t have the same borders as the city, but still) is only 32% White to give an indication of where Plano is headed. Very diverse by any measure and a very large and growing South Asian population.
