Hello

We are planning to move from Kansas to Texas. We have relatives in Plano and Frisco area. But the home prices there are not within our budget. Which cities near Frisco are safe and where can we buy a 4 bedroom 3 bath house for around 350-450 k?
Any tips and advice appreciated.
TIA

Where will you be commuting to for work? Remember that the DFW is the size of Connecticut so you don’t want to have a long commute.

There are older areas in Plano, McKinney, Carrollton and The Colony that will fit your budget. Are schools important?

Work is mostly from home and travel sometimes. Kids are grown up so schools don’t matter. But low crime rate and hopefully not really bad traffic. ( Not sure the traffic thing is possible in Texas

Check Celina or Little Elm. Prices are a bit lower there.

I would look into Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Lewisville, or Colony since you don't have to worry about schools. Allen, McKinney, Murphy, Wylie could work as well
