Absolutely. Great for walking, jogging, picnics, canoes, and small sailboats.

There is a horse stable nearby that offers lessons. But it is not available for trail riding, but if you are interested in serious lessons, it's a horse lover's oasis in the middle of the city.

White Rock Lake is wonderful, and it's close to University Park (where you said in a prior post you are looking to move to). There's also a dog park if you have a Fido.

Yes, but the picture is of Lakewood!

And I don't know what the policy is on letting people from the Park Cities use our parks.

I was over at Buckner/Mockingbird today, it was so hazy it was hard to see the downtown buildings :-(

I don't know if I qualify as a Parkie or not (as I am a student at SMU), but I try to go to White Rock Lake at least once or twice a week to run or just enjoy the park. It's got to be one of the most beautiful urban parks in America.
