What are the options for private transportation for younger kids for pick up and drop off at a school? Ask on facebook in the babysitter group if someone wants to do it? Are their formal transportation service providers in or around Plano area?

I understand and that's why asking are there reliable options? If end up sending kids to private school but at times cannot drop off and pick up because of work location and schedules.

1. Carpool with families who live near you is the obvious best choice.

2. I don’t know if they’re still around since Covid, but there was a car company called Bubbl that was marketing as safe kids transport b/c their drivers were all off-duty or retired first responders.

You can offer another parent from the school or a retired neighbor to provide this service for a fair compensation. My neighbor pays another neighbor’s nanny $25/hr to pick and drop her children. It adds up to $$$$ per month but she is punctual and reliable.

Most of the daycares offer transportation from school to daycare, they have after-school care at school until 5:30 or so (you may have to pay - not sure). The school bus is the only drop-off option I'm aware of.

Thank you for the reply!
#1: In this case, school is very niche and no families around us may send their kids to that school.
#2: I came across this service when I needed to look for some last minute drop off for kids for their after school activities. Either the service was not available in this area or no drivers were available. Can take another look.

I have seen this kind of service in another state (NY) where young kids were picked up and dropped off at public school and back to daycare..could be a viable option..will look more and see what's out there. Thank you!
