Well I grabbed those homes from those websites, I"m not going to post hundreds of direct links. Housing not far from our metro hub is on par w/ many places in TX.

I just think ya might be afraid to admit I was right w/ those prices

Facts, you are really confused. I have yet to see those comparable houses though.

Did the posts not show of the 4 bedroom homes for less than $300? It was a little earlier today. Keep in mind the property tax differnce here can cover part of the price difference as well...

No comparable house to post links to? I thought that is what would happen. We don't need hundreds, a few will do.

You have to prove your claims to be right which you have yet to do. You provide one example I will counter with mine. We can do this one at a time or in groups if you like. Pretty simple process if you are up to it. Please consider age of house also. My examples will be less than 5 years old.

Those were taken directly from zip realty. Lake Elsinore is a new community as well, most being built in past 5 years as well.

Do you not know that these aren't links. There are no links provided. Am I missing something? I can't click on anything you have posted.

It is hard to compare with just pretty icons and text.

This is what your post looks like. I will try to simulate something for TX so you can see how futile you seem.

Plano, TX 5/3 4500- 14,000 sq. ft. $200,000

Lewisville, TX 5/3 2,344 12,500 Sq. Ft. $220,000

BTW these 2 areas are far, far superior to Lake Elsinore and quite nice communities.

I think I am wasting my time but I am hoping you will realize you are not putting up any real facts to be used in an intelligent debate.

The houses probably aren't comparable to what you could get in Texas for the prices you've been posting. Also Lake Elsinore is not a major city in the same realm as any of the cities in DFW. You could find houses in that price range in DFW and they might be much nicer, plus you'd have all of the big city amenities without having to spend your money on high-priced gas (if I'm not mistaken gas is a little more expensive there) driving from Disneyland or LA. It would simply be right in front you. Texas is simply better for getting more bang for your buck than California--simple as that.

I have been reading DWong's and others posting for a few weeks now and I just dont get why he is still debating and comparing California to Texas regardless of the information, he has decided not to move to Texas so why all the arguing? He should be done posting as things seem to be getting nasty!! I can tell you I was born in California and to me there is absolutely NO comparison!! Texas is a far better state too live in for many reasons, too many to post! You have decided to stay in California for reasons you have chosen so why the long debate?

Oh, it was only to prove that within 45 miles or so that you can get a house comparable to sizes in TX. Lots, well land here is a premium. And this wasn't so much about moving now, but learning about the DFW metro goods and bads.

Far better state - yes for working families you CANNOT get a better deal, period than TX.
