I've heard nothing good about Megatel, and they have some really terrible salespeople on top of that. What's more, that neighborhood appears to be way out in or right on the edge of Weston, likely outside any official city limits. I don't think they even have paved roads at this point.

If you just like the appeal of a lagoon, you can find something much cheaper in Stonebridge Ranch.

They do not have a great reputation. We built with Highland and had a great experience.

Make sure you have a great realtor by your side during the purchase process. Someone who will visit the site with you every couple of weeks during the construction process.
Make sure you have a great inspector that will do phase inspections during the building process.
Lots of buyers try to skip these two processes, but a great second and third set of experienced eyes on your project will get you a better house and perhaps save you a lot of money and headaches along the way.

Don't forget to use a cashback realtor and a reputable inspector for phase inspection.

Lots of buyers try to skip these two processes, but a great second set of experienced eyes on your project will get you a better house and perhaps save you a lot of money and headaches along the way.

You can even afford to hire third, fourth and fifth set of eyes aka licensed plumbers, electricians and engineers to inspect your property with the thousands of dollars in cash back you will receive from your cashback realtor.
