Three pages about cakes and nobody mentioned La Duni? IMO their cakes are among the best you can get in DFW.

I recently went home to the DFW area, after MANY, MANY years away and was surprised at how FAT everyone has gotten (lol). This type of mentality just strengthens my views.

I took an UBER to see the last Stars game with a girl friend of mine and the FIRST thing this pudgy Indian taxi driver wanted to ask about was FOOD. How much he loved food, cakes, bakeries, etc. and how 45 minutes to 1 hour of cardio daily was "too much".

Hey, if you all want to stuff your faces with cakes, sweets, bread, total crap, etc. and ask why you've become the 2nd fattest metro in Texas, this is why.

I hate to throw shade on the DF dub, but this is the truth today
As I was reading this pointless reply, I was hoping to get the taxi driver's cake recommendation!

OP, try DaisyCakes, Central Market, Steins, or Henk's. They are all solid options.

Its a great bakery but never tried or even noticed their cakes. Society Bakery cakes were delicious. If you check on your Nextdoor, home made cakes offerings are sometimes better than professional bakeries.

Default Kess Kravings in Coppell

Only open Tuesday and Saturday after 10am.
Not cheap, but good if you want pastry chef type creations and not a factory made store bought cake.
