Shop around, you can easily get it cheaper. I use a broker from Goosehead my INS with Nation wide went up like that. 2 vehicles, perfect recorded, excellent credit. Told him to look around and got me back down to a few dollars less than I was paying with Nationwide. Same for household also.

You have to shop around every few years. I was with Farmer's for several years and at the last renewal my auto jumped $62 a month (it had steadily increased by $150 per month over 5 years, but this was the biggest jump) and my home went up more than $1000 for the year. I ended up with Safeco dropping my auto by $150 and saving about $200 for the year on the home.

How is your personal credit score? A low credit personal credit score can also impact the pricing of almost all insurance. You should probably shop it around to a few captive and independent insurance agencies every few years anyway.

A BMW and Lexus sound quite "fancy" to me. You could likely find a cheaper car brand new for less.

I've always been with Allstate. My costs have gone up probably around 20 percent for home and auto insurance over the past couple years. After shopping around, I could not find anyone that would be cheaper after adding up both policies.

Everyone's situation is very different though, and the cheapest insurer for one person could be the most expensive for someone else.

Regardless, your cars are just too high end and too expensive.

They charge you because they can. I have noticed that the car insurances have gone up rather a lot in 2 years. People trying to defend insurance price hikes are the same people who defended builders during Covid even as they kept deposits and put houses on market after completion unless owners could put up some insane money, thats on top of forcing people into their own 'approved' lenders who charged an absolute hell on points and awful interest rates. I still remember the 'Poor builders, the lumber prices!!!'. Then lumber prices fell to pre covid levels and still crickets.

When everyone sat at home during Covid, they sent us 1% refund for premiums.
