Based on all the threads about how hostile the work environment in the private sector is for black professionals, I'm curious about which types survive somehow?

I'm guesing it's either white identified/aspiring black people or docile "softer" black people? I'm curious to know as I might have a job opportunity there and want to make an informed decision.

Black professional here. Been here in the metroplex for over 20 years. Working professionally for over 15. What type of job opportunity are you talking about? You may be referring to the actual industry as being hostile/tough to work in. I'd need more context.

Hi,
I've heard all private industry is very tough for black professionals. What's been your experience? I'm sure you read previous threads and seen that magazine article.

This might not be nice to say but I bet there's a good chance that you will find a hostile work environment not matter where you live or work.

Edit: I'm not going to edit the comment above although it might read pretty harshly. I'm truly interested in why you wrote you comment. Is this an issue in all or most cities for black professionals? Is this something as a black person you have to openly consider at any job opening? Or it is a concern in certain locations? Tell me more, please. I'm interested in learning.

So in addition to being a troll, you're also a transracialist?
