Hi

I think I just read on the forum that someone had a re-upholstering workroom or made slipcovers. I am wanting to have slipcovers made for several items and want good quality work. I am not interested in the tying kind or the pre-made ones as I need custom ones. I am also hoping it will be pretty reasonable. Any suggestions?

I would suggest you go to a fabric store like Joanne's Fabric or Hancock and choose your material. Most of them have usually some ladies that sew in there and they can sew them for you or make arrangements to come to your house to take the measurements etc... at a great price. I was able to choose a very expensive fabric for a set of antique chairs because they saved me so much on the labor...

Calico Corners might be able to steer you in the right direction as well.

Here's one I have heard about, but haven't used personally Sheffield's Custom Slips and Covers
