Yes... but generally its a good weird I think. Weird doesn't have to be bad now does it? The people are very nice in any case. Thats what matters most. Good information. I am planning to move to Denton with my family due to a job with FEMA. We haven't decided into buying a house, as she is British and I just left the military. Which areas are good for renting a home, which areas should I avoid and do you think I should invest in the housing market?

I'd try to stay away from a home close to UNT/TWU, just because college kids can be a bit, noisy on a regular basis. I'm a fan of the Northwest & far South sides of town myself.
