People only move to Dallas for work? While I could not find statistics on retirement migration on a city level, Texas is currently #2 for over 60 migration in the US. So, maybe people only move here for jobs or when they retire.

Seriously, Glassbox, who peed in your Cherios that you hate Dallas so much? It's a nice city IMO. I enjoy living here.

Glassbox, I wouldn't say people would choose NYC, Hong Kong, etc over Dallas...especially if they had a budget problem... but that is your opinion... who am I to stop thinking.
Dallas is in a lot better shape then other cities like Jakarta, Saigon, and Kinshasa...but whatever you want
anyways.
I would want them to build a nice new TALL shiny sky scrapper, but i guess thats out of the question...

It really doesn't matter who peed in her Cheerios... maybe it was Glassbox herself. People usually create their own hellish attitudes and carry them around, like a blue-gray cloud.

Serouusly, who would want to agree with Glassbox? Agree with being miserable, unhappy, frustrated...

I agree with you, LH. I'm happy here in Dallas and I think it's a better city to live in than others I've seen (and lived in). I have a positive attitude about the city, its architecture, its culture and entertainment, its way of life.

Bottom line... I'm happy. Glassbox is not.

And honestly, does that matter? You are just trying to find ways to see DFW above Houston. Both metro areas are doing fine and are carrying Texas.

Yes, I agree. Both Houston and Dallas are great North American headquarters cities, each in their own way.
