I am desperately looking a day care for six month old baby. I go to work using Rowlett rd, George Bush highway and campbell. Preferably I hope to find a GOOD day care around the road.

any information will be greatly appriciated.
As a parenent, I wish to find best possible place even though my budget is not too high.

You might look at http://octopusgardenpreschool.com/ although it's on Arapaho and not Campbell, east of Central Expressway.

Try Little Lambs Lutheran off Plano Parkway. Excellent care, 3-to-1 ratio for infants and the teachers could not be better. The only reason we left is because we moved to another state.

The Little Lambs is not a "full service" daycare as their hours are only 9-2pm (or 3). I have a 9 1/2 month old, so I remember the interviewing of daycares like it was yesterday.

I refused to pay those high prices as some where $1600 a month, $1350, $1125... yikes!

I never thought I would put my daughter in a church daycare, but it's awesome. It's very close to where you're looking, at 14th and M street across from the Dickies BBQ. It's First Baptist of Plano and it's only $830 a month. They don't charge "by week" so you're getting 4 weeks free that you wouldn't get at other daycares. Plus, the registration fee was only like $80 and it's a one time fee, instead of those ridiculous fees of over $200 that you have to pay each year to reregister.

They are the only church daycare in the area that I found that is full service, opened from 7am-6pm and they even have Friday once a month where you can leave your child until 10pm for $6. They provide all the food, sheets, drinks, everything (except diapers and bottles). My daughter loves it there. She smiles everyday she walks in the door.
