We purchased a scratch and dent fridge (small scratch at the bottom where the wall was) from Rodenbaugh's in Allen about 11 years ago. I don't have it anymore (it was white and I changed everything to black appliances at the last house we bought), but I felt we had a good deal.

Sears Outlet! There is one at Grapevine Mills and another at Josey and Belt Line in Carrollton (check this...it's been a few years). They have super cheap prices and you can usually find what you need on the first try!

Sears Outlet in Grapevine Mills was my suggestion as well
don't know if Best Buy has scratch/dent center but might be worth asking

North Texas Appliance in Rockwall will beat any price at the stores. They also have a "scratch & dent" store.

Conns Electronics have a outlet store in Mesquite. It's on Town East Blvd on the opposite side of 635 from the mall. They are next door to the regular store and always have a warehouse full of scratch and dent appliances and TV's.

I second Rodenbaughs... They have a store in Plano also. I got a smoking deal on a washer/dryer.

Second Sears. We bought a nice side by side there when in Dallas, and again here in Seattle when we moved.

People actually drive from Idaho and Alaska to come to the Sears scratch-n-dent here in Washington. The one here pales in comparison to the one in Dallas.

It's been a long time since I was there, but you have to either use their on-site service to have the fridge delivered or arrange fairly immediate pickup of the fridge. They want to get their inventory turned over pretty frequently.

One hint: once you find the fridge you like, post a friend/spouse there and then go on a quick hunt through the other models for any missing parts. I always had to go to another model with bigger dents and scratches to find all of the accessories and manuals.
