Dallas is definitely more snobby than Houston. I've come across a lot more nicer, friendlier people that are from the Houston area. Even the Mexicans from Houston are less snobby than the ones from the Dallas area. However, there was this one Indian dude I worked with a couple of years ago in Frisco, TX who moved to the Dallas area (Collin County) from Houston and he was real snobby. I can see why he left Houston and fits in better in the Dallas area.

Yep. But I do think Dallas is becoming less snooty over time as more people move in. That being said their shopping is top notch. For instance Balenciaga only has a handful of stores in the country. Guess which of these cities has a store!

Your post doesn’t make sense. There is a Balenciaga store in Houston and Dallas. Both cities have great shopping and stores that sometimes decide to set up shop first in one of the cities before expanding to the other. There is an abundance of wealth in both cities.

Back on topic…generally speaking, the vibes between the two cities differ. A good comparison is San Francisco is more laid back than Los Angeles.

There is a reason for the slogan "Keep Dallas Pretentious".

There are higher levels of pretentiousness is Dallas than Houston.

As they sayings go:
Keep Houston pretentious.
Keep Dallas snotty,
Keep Austin weird
Mantener a San Antonio orgullosamente Mexicano.

There you have it.
