I am thinking about moving to the Dallas area, McKinney is high on my list so is Irving. Does anyone know if there are indoor golf courses in either place because that would be a deal breaker.

Thanks in advance.

Forget all that West Facing, Rear Entry vs. Front Entry garage or Master bedroom up nonesense.

The true litmus test is if you can play golf indoors in your town.

Plano eat your heart out. You've been one upped.

Yeah, but Plano has a Fry's. Which is way better in my opinion.

One real annoyance I've found about rear entry homes, is that typically the master bedroom is as the back of the house, so the street noise isn't a bother. It was a bit windy last night and I got to listen to the garage door behind us rattling.

I think the master is almost always in the back of the house right ? I can't recall seeing one in the front.

I've never seen a master in the front. But with the rear garage you have the rattling metal issue, garage door opening noise, and heaven forbid you have a mid-life crisis guy with his 07 Shelby GT500 crawling in at 2am.... I'll pay more attention in the future to the homes behind me.

"07 Shelby GT500 "

Oh, but a sweet rattle that is...those are SIC.

I'm smelling a mid life crisis.

Our old house had the master in the front. I've seen several that do. However I prefer the master in the rear so that I can look out into the backyard and the pool. Also great to have a door from the master to the backyard . I don't really hear the garage door going up or down from our master much less the neighbors. Every now and then I hear my neighbors 07 Shelby but not that often, I tease her we are gonna race . LOL!!! At least all of our neighbors seem to dig our muscle cars as they either have one or two themselves or it brings back memories. You can always put some low growing trees around the fence to help w/ noise, it really does make a difference.
