Not that you should rush out and blow a wad on furniture in this economy...

Has anyone else frequented the Dump? I got what I consider to be a smokin' deal on a couple of recliners.

Congrats on the recliners.

The Dump definitely has some good deals! Depending on the day, they carry great stuff at amazing prices. Other times it seems, IMO, everything looks on the crappy side or they have too many, eh, 'unique' pieces for my taste. But it's always a fun visit because the stock does seem to turnover quite quickly and you can walk away with a real steal.

Now if we could just get them to change their advertising. I swear I thought I'd lose my mind when they were first opening for business in the area....the radio ads seemed never ending and were beyond annoying. But memorable. And certainly burned into my brain forever. So I guess it did the trick.

We bought a bunch of things from "The Dump". Nice stuff, good condition. They originally delivered the wrong size and style which was discovered right after they left (male attention to detail...sorry guys)! They were called and returned with the correct order that same day so situation rectified. I was happy with them. Sales people nice and not really leachy!

We've shopped there twice. I recommend, but agree that Friday AM is the best time to go. Sun is depleated and damaged goods left.

I love the Dump. They have a huge selection and some great deals can be found. I do agree that timing is everything. Sometimes I go there is not a good deal in site. Other times I go I have to restrain myself from buying the entire store.
