I'm thinking mostly about private equity, hedge funds, institutional investment firms. Not commercial or retail banks, and stuff like that.

Not sure where else to ask this, I realize not many people will know the answer to that here.

Probably fewer than there were a year or two ago...

But yes. I briefly worked in that sector at the turn of the century (hey, that sounds cool to say), and there were quite a few. Mostly pretty small outfits.

Yes I did, but hedge funds are notoriously secretive so it's hard to find out.

I currently work for a hedge fund in NYC and am looking for some leads on places I could work in Dallas.
