I just saw on the news where they gave information about the Angel trees and said that there is a lot more kids this year because of the tough economy. They are asking everybody that can to help and if possible grab more than one!

This is a very important cause, so if you can, please go pick up an angel at one of the angel trees in the mall. Everybody deserves a good Christmas!

Here is a link that has more information and locations of the trees:

Thanks for the info. I have been trying to decide where to give this year and I like the idea of an angel tree.

Thank you DFW, this would be a good thing for us to do this holiday season. I think I will have my children each pick an angel to shop for. The church where we use to live has an outreach mission in the Dominican Republic and the kids would put a shoebox of necessities and fun things together to send. I think now that we are here will will act locally to help make a difference.

We let our kids(2) each pick an angel to buy presents for and we got them on Friday. Our son picked a boy his age to buy for and our daughter got a girl her age to buy for as well. There was so many though that we wanted to get more.

I have an Angel everyear. My agency gets about 20 angels and individual workers select the angel they want to help. We also collect toys for children who are not on the list.

How can I get a little boy on the angel tree who needs help with Christmas. He is 5 years old but was born weighing 456 grams and has disabilities. He has been trached and has a feeding tube and is missing all of his fingers on one hand. He is so precious and his mom cannot afford to buy him Christmas gifts this year.
