I noticed that there seems to be some retail construction between North Garland Ave & Brand Rd alongside the George Bush Highway. The area I am talking about is right next to the Outback/On The Border/Olive Garden/Chucky Cheese restaurants. Anyone know whats comin out there? We know whats coming on the other side of 190 with Buffalo Wild Wings etc. Anybody? Momof2?

I haven't seen any signs yet. It looks like they're just prepping the lots. I'll pay more attention the next time I drive by there for a "coming soon" sign etc...

It is a hotel. The newly opened daycare center is right beside it. On the front row you have Chuck E. Cheese & Texas Roadhouse. Behind them are ASI, the daycare and the new hotel being built.

I'm tired of the far right lane being closed . It is a MESS in rush hour and over the weekend right now w/ the holiday shopping going on.

I agree. 2 lanes there are very useful - particularly i am sure, for people who dont want to pay the toll...thanks for the info.
i was hoping it might be say oh "CheeseCake Factory" or something! oh wait - we might be there way too often :-)
Buffalo Wild Wings is a good start on the other side....

I'm loving the idiots that pull out onto the service road from the restaurants or that street when there is already a LONG LINE of 3 lanes of cars trying to merge into 1.

LOL!!! I'd love CheeseCake Factory or the Grand Lux. YUM!!! Like I need it though. Buffalo Wild Wings is moving right along. A Dickey's BBQ is supposed to open in that same strip as well. Haven't seen a sign for them or heard from any of the other area managers/owners for that one though. I'll be happy when they do open there so I don't have to go far for my holiday Cajun Fried Turkey and Ham.

Houlihan's is open now and they have AWESOME martini's. They have a triple sampler You get to pick 3 martini flavors and they bring them all out to you. I'd say it is not bad for $9 for 3 martini's. The other night I had: Cosmo, Chocolate and Key Lime. Cosmo - good overall. Chocolate - good chocolate one. Key Lime - OMYGOSH DEEEE VINE!!! They also have a Ding Dong Martini w/ you guessed it a Ding Dong ON THE SIDE OF THE GLASS! Sounds good but haven't tried that one. I also like their lunch menu and their Chicken Tortilla Soup is really good. Come to think of it....... everything we have had there has been very good.
