How hard is it to find diesel fuel in North Dallas? I'm thinking about bringing my car down from NY, but don't know how convenient it would be to fill up around Park Cities/Preston Hollow. Anybody know if it's readily available?

Thanks!

You won't have any problem. There are plenty of MB BlueTEC's, VW TDI's and diesel trucks in the area. So, bring it on down.

Same zip, but a little farther to the west. My parents live closer, but south of Walnut Hill. It sure has made for interesting conversation.

You will have no problem finding gast stations with Diesel here in the DFW area as they are all around.

Our entire fleet of company trucks are diesel and we have a company card thru Mobil/Exxon. Most of them have diesel. More stations have diesel than don't.

However, while gas prices are at a 5 year low diesel prices are not coming down as well. Still high for diesel around here.

It will only be cheaper because you will only need to use it once. You will be dead after that. You do not use any kind of gasoline or diesel for propane heaters. YIKES!

Oh, and the fittings would not work anyway. Any fool that would put diesel in your propane tanks for you to use in that way needs their Railroad Commission license revoked.

he is not talking about a large propane tank that you would run a house off of
he is talking about portable heaters--like to take to a deer blind

and I think they run off kerosene not diesel
