I have 3 tv's that I need wall mounted with the cables running behind the walls. I'm sure there are plenty of posters here who have that set up and can point me in the right direction!

Do you know of a company or person who does this? Also, what prices were you charged for this?

I can buy the tv's and mounts at cost through my company I just need someone to do the install.

Any help is much appreciated!

I had mine done by firedog (circuit city). But they charge a lot for it. I think I paid $400 for one TV. I recently moved and I think I am going to do it myself. Its pretty easy to do with the mounting kit.

we just had a handyman do it for us when he was out to do other things. he had never done one before, but he figured it out just fine. we could have probably done it too, we just wanted it to be someone else's fault if it hit the floor.

If the cables are just running a few feet behind the wall, especially straight downwards closer to the floor, and then popping out through a wall plate - it is really not difficult to do. Longer distances or above fireplaces are trickier and may be worth getting a professional. Circuit City (when they were around) was going to charge me $500 for installing a 52 inch widescreen LCD over our fireplace wired over to a built in equipment rack 2 feet to the right - neighbor and I did it in about 1 hour and only cost me the price of feeding him and his kids that night - but I already have the tools (basically a drywall saw, stud finder, fish-tape, flashlight, screwdrivers, cordless drill with appropriate bits, level, tape measure, pencil). If you're at all interested I can post more details. Otherwise I agree, find a handyman off craigs list - I personally wouldn't pay more than $50-75 per TV, but I can pretty much do it all myself anyway.

I did mine myself. Wasn't hard at all. It required using my stud finder, drill, wrench to fit the lag bolts, plastic electrical boxes with covers and a keyhole saw. The only wires running to my flat panel TV were the power cord and the HDMI. The set we have weights about a 100 pounds so I did solicit a little help lifting it on to the wall mount. After you have the part to the wall and the part to the back of the TV, it just hooks on. Been there for two years and hasn't fell yet .

To add on to what people have said here this is really easy to do but may take two people depending on the size/weight of your plasma. Below are how to run the wiring and where to buy the kit and an hdtv wall mount at prices that are not marked up 500% by Best Buy and similar stores.
