Thank you all for your input and response. For the record Asian hair is more difficult to cut because it is very coarse. Therefore a barber needs to more skilled with the clipper in order to achieve a nice blended cut.

As for the mechanics, do any of you bring your own parts? Thanks

Carrollton has a whole area dedicated to Asian culture (but I love to go there as well) The grocery store there is awesome. They also have a spa, pet things, insurance places, medical and dental clinics, martial arts, hair salons, etc. I don't know about a mechanic in that area, but do check it out. I'll bet you could get some good recommendations. It is off of George Bush Tollway (161) and Old Denton Rd.

An other area of town with a lot of Asian businesses is Greenville Avenue at Beltline/Main Street in Richardson. I'll bet you'd find what you need in that area.
