Weird question that my wife asked me...she is a smoker and we are moving from NJ (where cigarettes are approx $5 a pack for the cheapest to Dallas...can anyone tell me what the average cost for a pack/carton of basic low end cigarettes goes for? Thanks!

Marlboros are a little bit over $5. Cheapos are probably $3-$4. I havent smoked in a year. I am saving almost $1800 a year by quiting my pack a day habit.

You can get Marlboros or Camels for under 4 bucks a pack at most pharmacies. At gas stations, they cost about 5 or 6.
