We are looking for areas to buy an inexpensive house it can be within the city of Dallas or out of it.

Inexpensive means one story, limited lawn and backyard, one or two bedroom, $10,000-$70,000.

Have any suggestions?

Wow, I didn't think it could be done but go to realtor.com and put in those requirements in Dallas and there are actually 89 single family homes that pop up. You have to know that these aren't going to be in very desirable areas but it can be done.

You can hope but it won't do you much good.

Actually you might find something in Balch Springs or Seagoville that fit the bill. Irving and Grand Prairie on the other side of Big D are possibilities. Those suburbs are among the areas least objectionable that might work in the upper edge of your range IMHO.

Hey artsy, i read your initial numbers as 10 - 30...not 70...it's that kind of day. That's why I was worried about you.

Older parts of Garland could also be considered...
